Talking PowerShell

Posted on June 12, 2018June 13, 2018

Hard to believe the year is almost have over. Other than the PowerShell Summit, most of my travel this first half of the year has been for private PowerShell classes. After taking some well-earned rest with my family I will be back on the road towards the end of the summer. I have a number of public events lined up where I'll be presenting  PowerShell and PowerShell-related topics.

If you are like me you need to make travel plans far in advance so I thought I'd share some details of where I'll be throughout the rest of year. Hopefully, our paths will cross.

Towards the end of July, you should be able to find me presenting at the Research Triangle PowerShell Users Group. It hasn't been confirmed but I expect I will be presenting for the group on July 25. The event is free, although you will need to register in advance. The topic is still being finalized. If you are anywhere in the Raleigh, NC area, you should be a part of this group.

In August, you will find me in Chattanooga, TN. I am doing a full-day pre-conference event on Friday, August 10. Then I will be presenting at the very first PowerShell Saturday in Chattanooga. There is a nominal registration fee for both the pre-con and Saturday event. You can learn more and register at https://www.powershellchatt.com/. I'm looking forward to this event.

logo-psconf-asiaIn October I'm making the long trek half-way around the world to present a couple sessions at PowerShell Conference Asia in Singapore, October 19-20. I am currently scheduled to speak on "Securely Scripting PowerShell" and "A PowerShell Workday". I've never been to Asia so maybe you should join me!

live360LogoFinally, to wrap up the year you can join me in Orlando, FL for Techmentor, part of Live 360. I will be doing a full-day Hands-On pre-conference on December 2. This will be a PowerShell Jump Start. This session is designed for beginners, even absolute beginners, who want to hit the ground running with PowerShell. During the main conference, I have several PowerShell scripting-related sessions I hope you'll find interesting. And of the course the conference has a boat-load of other great content. Learn more at https://live360events.com/events/orlando-2018/Home.aspx.

All of this leaves me a little time for some "real" work, plus I have some other writing projects in the works I hope to get to throughout the rest of the year. The best way to keep up is by following me on Twitter.

I hope to see you somewhere later this year.

    Hello Jeff,

Hope you have a great trip Asia. I am really enjoying your Pluralsight PowerShell scripting courses. They are awesome. Looking forward to attending one of your sessions one day.
