I have published a new version of The PowerShell Practice Primer. If you own the book and signed up for notifications, you should have received an email informing you of the new edition. That is a great benefit of publishing on Leanpub. If I update the book, you get the update as well. In this case, I went through the book and revised some answers that take PowerShell 7 into account. I also added a bonus part devoted to PowerShell 7.x specific problems. Although, many of the questions assume a Windows platform. Now there are over 100 practice problems starting from very, very simple to difficult.

The problems are not scripting exercises. You are asked to solve a problem or answer a question. The solution should be no more than a few lines of PowerShell that you can run interactively at a PowerShell prompt. If you don't know how to use PowerShell from a prompt, you fill find it very difficult to write a PowerShell script or function. Of course, once you have something working from the console, it usually doesn't take much more effort to turn it into a repeatable tool.
I hope you'll consider adding this book to your PowerShell library and a sincere thank you to those of you who have supported this project.
