Remote PowerShell ISE Connections in Action

Posted on July 14, 2016

I've written a few times about my PowerShell module that makes it easier to create remote tabs in the PowerShell ISE. The module, ISERemoteTab, is available in the PowerShell gallery. I've also created a short video that demonstrates how to use it, especially the WPF form.

I have a few more ideas for this project when I get some free time. In the mean time this should keep you busy. Enjoy!

    awesome.!!!

I have been trying to do this in a more elegant way for a long time now. No where near as elegant as this.

This does it but there were other ideas along this line as well for other resources need to access and centrally manage from the ISE as well.

Hopefully the next rev of WMF/PoSH with the talked about integrations will result in me not having to do the work at all.

Right now I use this kind of approach to shell out to what I need to do. This makes it a bit easier.

Congrats on the effort. Thanks a bunch. Keep it going.
Glad to see I was not the only one trying to go down this space.

Now, I have to decide to drop my efforts at this and just follow and use what you are doing. Since my approach and Idea was exactly this.
