#PS7Now Ebook Available

Posted on March 26, 2020March 26, 2020

PS7NowA few weeks ago, I was part of a PowerShell community event that was designed to educate and spark interest around the general release of PowerShell 7. I organized a week of blogging  by some of your favorite PowerShell bloggers and community activists. We release a week's worth of material using the #PS7Now hashtag.  You probably saw a number of items in your Twitter feed using this and the #PSBlogWeek tags. Perhaps you had a chance to read articles as they were shared. Perhaps you missed a few since they were written by people literally around the world. Now is your chance to rectify that situation.

I've edited an ebook that is being offered on Leanpub that is a collection of the #PS7Now articles. Now you can read about changes to the JSON cmdlets or see how to use ANSI tricks in your console. We wanted to help spread the word about PowerShell 7 in hopes that more IT Pros would begin moving to it as their daily driver. It installs side-by-side with Windows PowerShell so you really have nothing to lose.

If this sounds good to you, head to https://leanpub.com/ps7now to get your copy.  The book is technically free. Slide the pricing slider to adjust your price. But we're hoping you'll consider making a small donation. $4.99 is the minimum. All proceeds go to the OnRamp Scholarship fund. This is the same cause that your purchases of The PowerShell Conference Book and The PowerShell Conference  Book vol. 2 also fund.

Regardless, we hope you find the content useful and enjoyable.
