I thought I'd take a moment to let you know that my new book is finally available. WSH and VBScript Core: TFM (SAPIEN Press). This book is a complete reference to Windows Script Host and VBScript. My goal was to replace the official Microsoft documentation with something that a Windows administrator would actually fine useful. The Microsoft documentation is pretty skimpy, in my opinion, and is aimed at developers. The examples rarely have any practical value and often are vague. All the examples are complete and practical. If something doesn't have a practical application in administrative scripting, I'll tell you. I have to admit it's a pretty exhaustive work. Well the book is great but I found disappointing that I cannot Print, or even copy and paste the code.
Why?
The PDF version I paid almost 40$ is useless if i cant print, if u do buy it, get the hardcopy.
again the Content is awesome! but just the restrictions made me sad.
I certainly understand your frustration. Unfortunately it is a trade-off between having the flexibility of an e-book and still protecting intellectual property. Remember, you can download a zip file with all the major script samples at http://www.sapienpress.com/WSHCore.asp
