But once I hit connect, I get new remote tabs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/jdhitsolutions.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/remotetabs.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"remotetabs\" src=\"http:\/\/jdhitsolutions.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/remotetabs_thumb.png\" alt=\"remotetabs\" width=\"644\" height=\"409\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>In this example I am using the remote profile script feature to run a set of PowerShell commands after making the remote connection.<\/p>\n<p>In my ISE profile script I added these lines to create a new Add-On shortcut.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:ps decode:true \">$Display = \"New Remote ISE Tab\"\r\n$Action = {New-ISEREmoteForm}\r\n$Shortcut = \"Ctrl+Shift+T\"\r\n\r\n$psise.CurrentPowerShellTab.AddOnsMenu.Submenus.Add($Display,$Action,$shortcut) | Out-Null<\/pre>\n<p>All of this has also been published to the PowerShell Gallery. If you are running PowerShell 5 you can use Install-Module to install\u00a0 ISERemoteTab.<\/p>\n<p>I hope you'll try it out and let me know what you think.
